Ursula teamed up with London-based photographer Alessandra Kila, to produce a series of installations inspired by women’s challenges in balancing domestic, professional and private lives.
“They are all ladies. They are doing ok. The have produced and reproduced and they are finely placed within this perpetuating cycle of keeping things together, somehow.”
“But just another toy, nursery rhyme, kilo, extra unpaid workload, romantic dinner, or drop of milk – although insignificantly small, is big enough to shift the balance.”
The installation was first displayed at Meanwhile Dalston, a pop-up exhibition event organised at the premises of our project The Factory, London.
